Circular Economy, Recycling, Reuse

Ergochairs “Zero Chairs To Landfill” Policy means that we provide a fully transparent, traceable commitment to assess, refurbish and rehome all chairs received regardless of age or condition.

Recent case studies have seen us complete entire office fit outs, collecting the previous seating at the same time before our team of experts carefully evaluate and restore everything they can before the chairs are then donated to local charities including children’s hospitals and hospices.

Providing life changing seating support for frontline care workers and healthcare practitioners across the nation.

Additionally, the original owners of the recycled chairs are provided with certification showing exactly how much waste they have prevented from entering into landfill, and how many chairs have been given a new home along the way.

Typical environmental savings for customers achieved are an incredible:

• 118kg of landfill waste prevented.
• 864kg CO2e footprint reduction.
